Our campsite is located directly at Lake Kaltern, nestled between vineyards and nature.
The quiet location and proximity to the water make it an ideal place for relaxation and peaceful vacation days.
Our guests enjoy a spacious lawn directly at the lake as well as free access to the adjacent outdoor pool during opening hours. Swimming, bathing or simply enjoying the sun – everything is just a few steps away.
The campsite is suitable for tents, motorhomes and caravans. Whether active or relaxed: the lake and surrounding area offer numerous opportunities for leisure, sports and nature experiences.
A grocery store and a café-restaurant are located in the immediate vicinity.
Free WiFi is available to our guests in the office area.
Our camping guests have their own access to the adjacent outdoor pool Gretl am See during opening hours. The outdoor pool offers a spacious wooden deck, a well-maintained lawn, a pool and direct access to Lake Kaltern.
The swimming season typically runs from mid-May to mid-September. The outdoor pool also offers our guests a pedal boat rental and a surf school.
Our guests receive a 15% discount on dinner at the restaurants Gretl am See and Seehofkeller. The necessary vouchers are available at the camping office. For advance table reservations, please contact the restaurants directly. Restaurant Gretl am See is closed on Tuesdays, Seehofkeller on Mondays.
Additional restaurants, pizzerias and a wine tavern are within walking distance.
100 m from the campsite is the Remichhof. A charming accommodation option in a family atmosphere. Surrounded by vineyards and with views of Lake Kaltern, the estate combines tradition, tranquility and South Tyrolean lifestyle.
Guests of the Remichhof also have free access to the outdoor pool and Camping Gretl am See.

The campsite is located directly at Lake Kaltern and offers ideal opportunities for swimming, bathing and relaxing by the water during the warm months.
Walking paths and hikes lead directly from the campsite through vineyards and nature – from leisurely to scenic.
The area around Kaltern is ideal for cycling tours through vineyards and countryside, especially in spring and autumn.
Kaltern is located in the heart of one of South Tyrol's renowned wine regions with wineries, tastings and a vibrant wine culture.

Arrival by car on the Brenner motorway:
Exit “Bozen Süd”, after the toll booth keep left to access the expressway toward Meran, first exit
“Eppan”, turn right onto the “Weinstraße” and follow it to Lake Kaltern.
Next exit “Neumarkt/Egna”, follow the signs to “Kaltern” at several intersections, finally approaching from the south on the Weinstraße to Lake Kaltern.
Arrival by train:
From the train station in Bozen, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the bus station. From there, there is a direct hourly connection to Lake Kaltern. Travel time approx. 35 minutes.

Da wir selbst oft erst kurzfristig wissen, welche Stellplätze frei werden, sind Reservierungen leider nicht möglich.

Our guests do not have to book a fixed length of stay and only pay for the nights they actually use.
Departure is possible daily until 1:00 PM. Extending your stay is usually possible on site, provided pitches are available.
As we often only find out at short notice which pitches will become available, reservations are unfortunately not possible.
